Night 1 of 30
Knock, knock.
Something's at the gate, and it says it's a sheep. You get three questions. Raise the lantern, ask carefully, then decide.
That's the gist. The real gate has footsteps, voices, twenty-two questions and thirty nights of visitors who get better at this. Play the free demo →
Three questions each
Pick from more than twenty, from "Say baa" to "Show me your feet" to "What do you think of the moon?" Make them count.
Look closer. Listen harder.
Raise your lantern for pointy ears, a long snout or a zip down the back. Listen for feet that pad instead of trot, or a bleat with a growl in it.
Let a wolf in
…and the morning count comes up short. Turn a real sheep away and you'll wonder about it all night.
Day 1 of 30
By day, get to know them.
Chat, offer clover, give a pat. Watch for the one who never grazes and keeps staring at the others, and mark each sheep Trust, Unsure or Suspect in your journal.
Happy sheep talk. Kindness fills a sheep's heart, while thirst, grief and a cold shearing drain it. Happy sheep gossip more, and grow better wool.
Shear one a day, because wool never lies. And sending a sheep to the moon is for good.
Something always goes wrong.
Every few days, a calamity. You'll get a warning and a way to fight back. Whether you listen is up to you.
